Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Andrew Ford asked about the warning 'DR Warning: Non logged Smart-Large-Object write in replqdbs' on IDS 10.0.UC5. Madison Pruet said DR refers to HDR, not ER, and confirmed it means the write will not be replicated, since HDR replicates smart blobs only if logged, with logging set per object, not per sbspace.

Does anyone know the meaning/importance of this ER warning?
10:11:43 DR Warning: Non logged Smart-Large-Object write in replqdbs
Is my CDR_QDATA_SBSPACE configured incorrectly?
IDS 10.0.UC5 on RHEL3
Thanks,
Andrew

Thanks Madison. So this is just a warning that this write will not be
replicated to the secondary HDR server?

Yes. HDR can replicate SBLOBS, but only if the SBLOB is logged.
Also - don't forget that sblob logging is on an object level, not on a
sbspace leve.
