HI! I have a table wich by now is not fragmented that already reached the limit of 17M pages and are giving me the "isam 136" error message. This table have aprox. 17 hundreds of millions records, in a production environment. Can I do a fragmentation without unload and reload? How?, just making apropiated "alter table"? Do i need rename it and deal with programs? In nearly two months this data will be migrated to another plataform. I have 9.40 IDS runnig on AIX. thanks in advance. Fernando
Yes you can do this without unloading using the ALTER FRAGMENT ... INIT ... statement. Art Art S.
