THEY SHOULD!!! My fgl_getkey() function was the result of trying to do just what this thread is about. I've been thinking of writing a lookup routine that would dynamically allocate memory for lookup codes and provide a popup window. Once I get it done, I'll make DB4GLGEN generate it. Actually, it would work very similar to the browse window created by DB4GLGEN. The original idea for this comes from... damn, I forget his name right now. When I dig the letter out of my archives, I'll make sure he receives full credit for the idea. Anyway, how many people would like a generator that creates popup style lookup windows that have a full reverse video line and use dynamic memory? BTW... (begin plug) GET DB4GLGEN...
