WebDataBlade / Connections / WebConnect ?

Hi. I'm a bit confused over the WebDataBlade (3.31 UC1). Does the accompanying webdriver support connections to databases other than the db where the app page is stored, i.e. does it support <?MICONNECTION>? (Idea: app pages reside in a db "the_web" and display data from other databases like "stores7"). Or is such a bad idea in the first place? What are the app-project for if it's single db? It looks like IUWC 4.1 (universal web connect) does support <?MICONNECTION>. Does it cooperate with IDS/UDO 9.14 ? TIA Chris.
