Logical Logs

Hi users, The env i am using is Informix OWS 7.20. The database i am using dosen't have logs. So in my esql/c programs if i user BEGIN WORK it gives me an error. Can anybody tell how to create log for existing database or if i export the database how to import it into a databse with logs. Thanks in advance.
