I'm pleased to report that it works much better under 4.10.UC1 :-) If your symptoms are what mine were, after a ^Z you need to type something like stty echo -nl -cbreak intr ^C quit ^B erase ^H kill ^U start ^Q stop ^S eof ^D to get the tty back into normal mode; if this works for you, put it in a script! After a "fg" back into informix, ^R should restore your screen. At least, this worked alright on my platform, but details are likely to be different for other ports.
