We have recently upgraded Informix fromn 7.23 to 7.30. Is it still possible
to make a export with dbexport from 7.30, and then do a import with dbimport
into 7.24

Yes dbexport/dbimport are suppposed to be a portable format. At worst
you may have to edit the schema to remove new features that the older
engine does not support. That should not be a problem going from 7.30
to 7.24 though.
