Yes, Sandip you are right, users should have got some warning, but it depends on who is responsible for displaying it. Is the problem recreatable? Can you reproduce it again? If so can you go to dbaccess and verify this? To our other Deja users: Does any one of you running Informix on HP10.20 had this problem?
