all errors below 100 are standard OS errors - you can grep <errno>
/usr/include/errno.h on most machines to find out the exact problem.
In this case you have reached the end of the tape before Informix
expected to i.e. your TAPESIZE parameter in your $ONCONFIG file is set
too low.
To fix it:
1. Edit your ONCONFIG and reduce the TAPESIZE parameter by 25% ir. if
it is currently 4000000 change it to 3000000.
2. Bounce your engine - log off all users, then run onmode -ky to
shutdown engine and oninit to restart engine (or use onmonitor).
3. Redo the backup - Note Informix will reach the end of the tape and
prompt you to insert a second tape to continue the backup.
Note you must bounce the engine for the new TAPESIZE to take effect.
Also sometimes tape sizes are misleading i.e. a 4GIG tape will rarely
be 4000000k - normally you will need to set TAPESIZE=360000 or
something similar.
