SUMMARY:Openlink ODBC Failing on version 7.22

Thanks to Ray Kaminski for providing the following information. In Ray's environment (HP-UX) and now confirmed in mine (Solaris 2.4) the Openlink ODBC broker fails against the version 7.22 RDBMS with the following error; RPC can't decode result This has manifested in MSACCESS, MSQUERY and DELPHI. It appears to occur only when a call to SQLTables or SQLColumns. (Attaching tables in ACCESS or during the DELPHI initialisation sequence) The problem is known to Openlink and they are working on it. A work around which works in ACCESS is to set the Row Buffer Size of the data source to 1. While this is probably detrimental to performance it appears to make the problem clear up.
