I'll be going. Sniffing around for customers ... er, I mean, interesting technical content! Seriously, fellow Brits, Mark Scranton is a *great* speaker, and what Andy Legge doesn't know isn't worth knowing, so I commend this event to your attention.

I'll try to be there. Will this also be a UK IUG meeting?

This morning I spoke to Scott O'Rourke who is on the Informix UK User Group Steering Committtee and suggested it. I also e-mailed Neil Truby today as well. Update the FAQ, promote the Infobahn, start another UKIUG meeting...I'm getting' busy! I've also e-mailed Neil to update the home page http://www.iiug.org/ukiug. It doesn't even mention Scott! Anyway why hasn't this been posted to c.d.i before? Promotion anyone? Geez we used to complain Informix didn't promote their stuff..... I've booked the day off work so baring accidents/illness I'll be there and pinning Mark Scranton down about onstat stuff that is not documented in the manuals! How many UK Informix customers know about the User Group Meeting? Even now 2 weeks notice is pushing it! I'll be there with my laptop with Informix 10 for Windows and I'll answer anyones questions about problems they are having with IDS. I'll been the one asking questions and not wearing a suit so easy to spot! Jusst grab me if you want to ask questions!
