IDS pam auth to Kerberos??

We=B9re currently setting up an LDAP server to support LDAP-UX and/or PAM Kerberos for our user authentication for our HPUX systems. For the IDS authentication, since /etc/passwd will be minimal, we are considering implementing Kerberos services. Will IDS pam authentication support Kerberos? Or would I be wiser to stick with just LDAP? Does anyone currently have IDS authenticating to a pam Kerberos configuration? Our reason for migrating to LDAP and/or Kerberos is to get away from NIS and to avoid potential holes auditors my ding us for. Thanks for any advice and insight with this.
