All, Is there a way to size the index extents if they are detached? I'm seeing alot of extents allocated to indexes (150+ extents). -Terrence

Index extent size is auto-calculated as a percentage of the table's extent sizing. The ratio is the ratio of the keysize to the rowsize. So, increase the table's NEXT SIZE and reorg it, then rebuild the indexes. This should compress the index into fewer larger extents. Art S.
