and update stats occasionally
and the odd oncheck is nice once in a while

Even nicer when Informix 7.31 arrives and it finds any broken
indexes properly - but thanks for the reminders!

Hopeful anti-spam: alter double 'w' to single 'w' to view site & send Email.
Capture number of rows of at least your main tables as a periodical snapshot.
This way when asked to perform a future 'sizing' exercise you can be more
accurate than 'well, if they all grow by 30%...'.
Also, clear down your online log nightly by MOVING it to an archive location
nightly named to include the date (eg : onlinelog.3103) and keep these for 60
days or so - makes things easier to find.
Just some suggestions, but I've found these two useful.
