map SDM model to relational model

Hi there.. As part of an Honours project I have to convert (map) input from a semantic database model to a relational model. The SDM model serves as the user interface. I am using Informix with SQL. Any references or code or ideas will be appreciated ASAP. Thanx. Aneekah Fataar Honours 1992 UCT
