Stephen: Your problem is most likely with some of the settings in termcap. You should be running with TERM=ansi. In your termcap file you should have the following values set for the ansi entry (along with the regular settings): :GS=\\E[12m:GE=\\E[10m:GV=\\63:GH=D:\\ :G1=?:G2=Z:G3=@:G4=Y:\\ :GU=A:GD=B:GC=E:GL=C:GR=\\64:RT=^J: I have checked these on a SCO system we have running here and they work correctly. You should be able to verify the settings after updating termcap by executing the following: echo "^[12mGGGG^[10m" where: ^[ is acquired by pressing CTRL-V and then ESCAPE. You should receive graphical chars on your screen. Hope this helps... Troy ============================================================================== Troy L.
