I bet the table cuentas_corrientes has columns of the type LVARCHAR or any of the new datatypes specific to version 9.0. Try to do a select as follows:- select * from ecofin@e3500desa_tcp:systables. In future please post version number, platform etc.

Are the versions the same at both ends?
