Try http://www.qpage.org/. qpage is a free (as far as I know) alphanumeric paging product that supports a subset of the SNPP protocol. I have it running on my HP-UX 9.04 and 10.20 systems currently. The server portion supports: - multiple modems - pager users and groups - time window to page or not - integrates with sendmail The good thing is that it is very general purpose and you can write simple clients using Perl for example to open a socket connection to an SNPP port and submit a page to the server. Currently, we are having a HP engineer integrate qpage into HP OpenView ITO.
