4GL debugger

Hi all, Is there a way to debug 4gl program. My programmer analysis wrote a 4gl program and it took awhile to crash. He said the program was able to pull a thousand rows data, then it crashed. He thinks something in is code caused but he did not able know what. We would appreciate any help. --Wayne
