On Solaris, you read the release notes and ensure that /etc/system
is configured to allow shared memory, and to allow enough shared
memory, but IMNSHO you also ensure that it does not take too much
shared memory. Ditto sempahores. After you alter /etc/system, reboot.
Once you've done that, Nils answer applies -- you boot OnLine.
