dbaccess/vi Solution

I've had a problem since I first installed Informix SE 6.0: Whenever I used dbaccess and used an editor to edit an SQL statement the process would "hang" when I exited the editor. I've found the solution. I had configured the database to use IPC to communicate between processes. This week I had another problem and changed the communications to sockets (and TCP). Problem with dbaccess solved. Now when I exit from the editor, I am immediately sent back to dbaccess. -- Mr. Rajendra Singh, B. Sc.
