IDS 9.4FC3 HP/UX 11.11 I am trying to create an index and get this error sometimes. I understand getting it during the day when the system is heavily utilized, but I am trying to create this off hours when there should be no activity. How can I see what process/session/etc is using a table and giving this error? Is there a way of creating an index that doesn't lock the table so I could create them during the day. The time to build it doesn't matter to me if I don't have to tie up the table. TIA, Randy
