Pimple > Principal Consultant > Informix Software Inc. The problem is keeping the arrays in sync. The only way you can move under automation is forwards and it requires a line-by-line scroll on the screen. The current screen line will not always be in sync. The best approach is to avoid this. Could you use a 132 column screen? Could you tackle the two halves of the array as entirely separate entry tasks? Could you expand the current line when you get to the end of it? Could you use the array as a selector for a pop-up data-entry window? Nils Myklebust recommends that you just have each array row displayed on two lines. This may not be to everybody's taste, particularly if you have lots of short fields or numbers. -- Peter Lancashire Information Systems Specialist, Bayer plc Eastern Way, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP32 7AH, UK Tel: +44-1635-562258, Fax: +44-1635-562281 --- If all else fails, read the instructions and the release notes.
