you really don't want to do this, because the table will still be listed
in the tblspace tblspace at the beginning of the dbspace, and this can cause all
kinds of havoc. if it really is necessary to get rid of this table, then call
informix support. they can dial in and take care of it within a few minutes.
on the other hand, if the table isn't that big, or if you can delete all
the rows from it, (i forget if you can access it at all or not), then you could
just leave it around. it won't hurt anything, (execpt it's annoying presence)...
