Hi. Try to use this unix command : vmstat -s The two firsts parameters (swap ins and swap outs) indicates if your cofee-machine (sorry.... your system), is really swaping. My experience confirm that you have read is right. More buffers in onconfig produces swap. As usual, the question is the balance from the memory system. Regards, JC.
