Re[2]: SET PDQPRIORITY error
Posted in 1998
We were told by Informix that HPUX 11.0-32 bit was only certified on
7.23UC10 or higher. If you are running 64-bit architecture on HPUX 11.0
then only 7.24HC1 is certified for HP systems.
At least that is our understanding. We are currently waiting for 7.24UC5
to be released next week. We've been warned to avoid earlier versions of
Informix 7.24 for HPUX 11.0-32 bit.

Update stats sets up the values that the optimizer uses
to decide how to perform the query. Possibly something within
the system tables had become corrupt. Update stats would have
fixed this. e.g. np_used (number of pages used) being < 0.
Next run
oncheck -cr
oncheck -ce
oncheck -cc <database name>
oncheck -cID <database name>
These check nothing is corrupt.
