If you want to manage your pagefile size and location, you can do so in the system properties applet (in control panel). On the performance tab, click on Virtual Memory. You can split the pagefile between drives (improves performance noticably on systems with a lot of pagefile use, but adding physical memory is better), adjust the size of the file, or even remove it from some drives completely. However, if you remove it completely from your system drive, you won't be able to debug crashes. ssoman@omm.com wrote in message <6gu4ih$k9l$1@news.xmission.com>... > You can move it to another device, and you can also split it across devices. >Though I am not sure if each device needs a seperate pagefile.sys. > In any case, DO NOT DELETE IT !! >> You can't get rid of pagefile.sys because it is a file which is required by >> Windows NT.
