If you really want to buy an emulator, fine, but if you want to get a share
ware product in the interim, head over to www.tucows.com and pick up QVT Term.
It comes in two versions, the 16-bit stand-alone terminal program, and the
32-bit version with a pitiful news/ftp/mail add-on. The 16-bit version works
quite well under windows95, and for >our< termcaps emulates graphics characters
the best. Results vary of course from site to site, but it seems to work
quite sell when telnetting around the globe.
But you might want to go after some xterminal packages. Xsoftware makes a
really easy-to-install, reliable package, but there are a myriad of others.
