There are no such catastrophic problems out there. Certainly not with any of the currently supported versions and there are a dozen of them even ignoring platforms. The most recent versions, 7.30UC3, 7.24UC5, 9.20, 8.?? (I don't remember) are all considered extremely stable and reliable and the 8.xx product is ideal for data warehouse applications. Art S. Kagel
