Re: observations when testing V11.50.UC4

Hello Richard, I have not added any logical logs in 11.5, yet, but we did upgrade some servers to 11.5 with existing logical logs. The annoying messages are similar to yours but do not occur as often (only occur during boot). I have not yet tested the dropping of ALL my individual logical logs in ALL my chunks and then creating each individual logical log bigger (but keep the chunk sizes the same). The ghost may be happy with your 1 Gb individual logical log but is complaining about all the other smaller ones. And I am guessing that you have smaller existing ones. Whether you do or not, I agree with you that the ghost should be fixed, killed or at least temporarily halted. Let us know how your AUTO_CKPTS off works. Thank god we do not have to add logical logs very often. -L.S.
