The trailing 0 isn't actually stored... If you want 1.1 to /display/ as 1.10 then you'll need to specify a format, eg, "%1.2f" in C, USING "&.&&" in 4gl Maybe you can cast to a decimal to get a fixed width output in vanilla sql. -- rh
