Executing 4GL jobs sequentialy

We have a Newera 2.2 program that generates a report. Each data line in this report prints a recap of the activity for the account using a seperate program. The program that we use to generate the recap is in 4GL. Here's my problem, we use execute procedure to call the recap program from Newera. The 4GL recap program creates a report then copies it to the printer using the "lp" system command. As the Newera program cycles through all the accounts, the procedure submits the jobs for execution and the SCO unix machine multi-tasks them as it should. If one recap program takes longer than one submitted after it, the order of the recap report won't match the order of the summary report. Is there anyway to single thread the recap jobs, so that the recaps will print in the same order as the summary report. Thanks Shannon
