You can buy other drivers from various other suppliers such as Q+E. However, I don't think Unix front-ends to Windows back-ends will be feasible, the way of the world is to do it the other way round. If what you propose *can* be accomplished, which I doubt, I can't see how more than one person at a time would be able to connect to the Access d/b. Besides, I can't see why you would want to hold the data out on the PCs.
