Moving from 4.1 to 7.0

A system, currently on Informix 4.1 is planning a move to 7.0 with the year 200 date issue in mind. Any suggestions and tips on the issues to be looked at and the precautions that should be taken to make the move as smooth as possible. Does one have to move to 5.0 first from 4.1 or the application can be directly ported on to 7.0. Any help in this matter is appreciated. Pls e-mail y'r suggestions to channels@worldnet.att.net Thanks
