Grant certain user from certain table

Helo, I have a question about how to give informix user certain privileges on certain table and certain sub query. For example : User 'test' can only have SELECT query to the certain table. Thanxs Appreciate for every answer, Regards, TPX

You really need to check out the doc - dunno what version you are on but here's a start: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/idshelp/v10/index.jsp You can grant a user table level privileges with the GRANT statement: grant select on tab1 to maya; For the subquery part I think you need to create a role and grant appropriate privileges to the role - look that one up.
