I've seen how Oracle can present themselves to an organization and I must say they were able to absolutely impress everyone, even longtime Oracle critics. The feature set, price, their commitment to the products that they sell felt the strongest and they will go out of their way to help the little guy. There is a very good reason why Oracle has grown to the size that it is. So at the very least, IDS needs to lead with it's base feature set. Charging extra for LBAC, continuous availability, and now compression? Is that a way to lead?
