Who's Michelle? Is she pretty? > Can the IIUG ask IBM about this? Where is the publicity for IDS? See above. As mentioned by other correspondents, the fact you're being asked to keep quiet about it shows you what IBM really wants in terms of Informix publicity. That is, preach to the converted. Or should that be "remaining unconverted" ..?
"If you believe for a minute that Informix will be mentioned you are naive." So who in IBM is supposed to be promoting Informix and is not doing their job? Who do we need to complain about... The next round of redundancys in IBM it becomes "Well we are sorry bob but customers have complained you are not doing your job and when you were named in the computing press...well..we're very sorry you didn't make it though the selection process....we are...regretfully..going to have to let you go..." Marketing Managers are expensive and easy to fire when they are not doing their job and get complaints against them.
