IUS WebDatablade & html type

The WebDatablade provided with IUS adds a new type 'html' to manage application pages. I would like to execute a query which retrieves an html value (something like this: select WebExplode(object, '') from webPages where ID='one_page' ) in a JavaAPI or JDBC program. The problem is that if I get the value as a string, the webdatablade converts the html in a string with a strange format, in which any chracter is converted in its corresponding hex code. Morever I cannot retrieve the value as a blob or as a clob column. Is there a way to see the html type as a simple string? thanks in advance Stefano Fornari fornari@stigma.it
