AIX Compatibility issue

I was unable to locate on the IBM website, any compatability charts that would determine if AIX 5.2 TL8 has been deemed officially compatible with IDS versions 10.00.FC4 and 9.40.FC3. Does anyone know if they are, and does anyone have any experience with these combinations? I have seen a great number of posts in the past about IDS on AIX concerning memory leaks, and I was also wondering if any of those issues have been resolved in the latest releases of AIX? Thanks in Advance for any information. John Hibner

I have seen prior posts that stated if running AIX 5.2 to run 9.40.xx and AIX 5.3 to run 10.xx.xx. Other wise look here on the right for platform availability; http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data/informix/pubs/roadmaps.html The Latest file as of today appears to be; ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/data/informix/platforms/AllGAedReleases20060 908.zip I tired to download but was not able to... do to something or and other but I have been able to in the past. I have not had any problems with memory leaking on AIX 5.3 with IDS 9.4 and ran on Solars before so I'm not sure if there is a problem with AIX 5.2. Hope this helps, Eric B. http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data/informix/ids/requirements/aix.html The link above provides information on the latest release of IDS compatibility with AIX. http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data/informix/pubs/roadmaps.html The platform availability spreadsheet that can be downloaded from the link above, gives the full list of releases that support all the platforms IDS is built on. Keep in mind that the spreadsheet may contain products that are no longer supported.
