For normal stored procedures, the person running the stored procedure needs execute permission on the stored procedure (and permission to run SPL procedures GRANT USAGE ON LANGUAGE SPL TO whomever but that's usually granted already), plus permission to make the accesses that the SPL makes to the tables it uses. For DBA-privileged stored procedures, the owner of the procedure needs the permissions to make the accesses to the table, but the user executing the procedure only needs execute permission on the procedure. -- Jonathan Leffler <jonathan.leffler@gmail.com> #include <disclaimer.h> Guardian of DBD::Informix - v2013.0118 - http://dbi.perl.org "Blessed are we who can laugh at ourselves, for we shall never cease to be amused." --047d7b62214ce7100c04d5762268
