Re: Need help to evaluate NewEra

Currently NewEra does have some bugs in version 1.00.WE1. However, we have been assured that they will be fixed. Version 1.1 is suppose to be out by May 1st. We have had great success in converting our 500 + program Manufacturing/Distribution Software from 4gl to NewEra. We have developed a code generator that we've used for years in our development of 4gl programs. We have been modifying it over the past 6 months to generate NewEra code and regular 4gl code. We have gotten to the point that we can generate both NewEra and 4gl code from the one set of form/trigger files. That way there is no need to support two sets of code if your going to need both the character and GUI versions.
