Mark, Have you tried WHENEVER ANY ERROR? This is a new feature in 4.1 which allows you to trap errors after ANY error instead of just sql, screen i/o, and validate statements. (See pages S27-29 in the 4.1 4gl supplement for more details.) Hope this helps!
