Help: Memory leak in Deallocate Descriptor

Hi, Our project team is currently struggling with a ESQL/C program that is leaking memory. We have isolated the problem down to a statememt $deallocate descriptor $descriptor_name in the code. It seems to be leaking a hundred bytes or so each time it is called (as according to the memory checking software we are using). This is a serious problem for us since the program we are writing is supposed to run continuously for days and may bust the swap space eventually. Is this problem a known problem? and does anyone has any convenient workarounds? Or are there patches that can be downloaded from somewhere? I'm using Informix ESQL/C Version 5.0 on a Sparc10 running SunOS 4.1.3.
