connection manager 'detect lost connection' every
Hi, I have an Informix 12.10.FC1WE cluster containing a primary HDR, secondary HDR, and an RSS. Each of the servers have connection manager running (all with the same SLAs). Recently, I've started getting email alerts from the RSS that look like this: Subject: rmca_cm_rssnet : Attention! : detected lost connection to Informix server To: informix Event Severity = 3 is lower than ALARMPAGER=4 No mail will be sent to PAGEREMAIL Connection Unit rmca_cluster_hq_rssnet: hdrnet from rss.sg1.allamericanasphalt.com However, when I look at the cmsm log on the RSS, I see these entries every few seconds: 10:44:31 Connection Manager successfully connected to hdrnet 10:44:31 Registration with server hdrnet failed because a Connection Manager named rmca_cm_rssnet is already registered. In the Connection Manager configuration file, change the NAME setting to a unique value. 10:44:31 Connection Manager disconnected from hdrnet 10:44:31 ALARM 3002 detected lost connection to Informix server hdrnet from rss.sg1.allamericanasphalt.com So, it seems to me that the connection manager on the RSS can't register because the server already has it registered? Is there a way to clear the registration from the primary server so that the RSS can register anew? -Justin
