2 gb file limit

Howdy folks, I am unloading a 4.8gb table from informix. As soon as the file size gets to 2gb the unload crashes with "write error, ulimit or file system size error" I have changed the ulimit to be unlimited and changed the HFS file system to allow large files. The file system is 6gb in size. Tried the unload again, and it has failed with the same error. Can enyone suggest to me how I can get the system to allow files larger than 2gb on HPUX 10.20. ????
