ESQL/C and date/datetimes

I hope Informix is planning on providing more functions/features in their next ESQL/C release with regards to date/datetime fields manipulation. What they currently have in 7.2 is totally inadequate and buggy. I've worked with Oracle's and Sybase's embedded langauges and they have significantly more help in this area. Well, as usual, I have been kinda forced to come up with my own set of date/datetime manipulation API's. Just thought I'd gripe a li'll. Arun
