odbc

Hi! I have provlem I have informix dinamyc server 7.2 and i want to set up odbc connection to informix database on aix i set up cli informix client software 2.0 and set up setnet32 but when i try test connection to informix server i have error message -932 (can't find name service/service ip in file /etc/service) but i have correct string in sqlhost file and /etc/services What must i doing?

Did you update the /etc/hosts.equiv file on the server side? Did you use a valid username & passwd? NOTE: You must left a blank row after last writed row ! exampe if u have a win9x you must edit windir\\services and append this row sqlexec port_number/tcp save and exit by :)

Hi all I made it all. (add in c:\\windows\\services) But i have error -908 I check my network and all is right. I can connect to my aix server.
