I've bet the farm on Informix to date, even down to the MetaCube for DW projects. And we have a huge investment in NewEra. And I don't employ people who can't write 4GL. If there was ever proof that Informix *can* write a brilliant tool and the rest of the market be damned, it has to be 4GL. Otherwise, we'd all be using xBase compilers against our SE databases.... So what if the lemming-like hordes are off to VB? An application development environment with no usable support for team development? Or Java (sorry Nils)? Words fail me. And anyway, you don't want to get me started on these pillocks who say that NewEra is crap... :-) Tubbily yours.... -- Ciao, Billy Nose to the ear in Johannesburg -- Murder City never looked so good!
