I can see how to select a compiler when compiling ESQL/C but how do I specify the compiler (not esql's) options. E.G I have this in my Makefile for a C program CC=cc -m32 -B/usr/lib/i386-redhat-linux3E/lib/ If I set INFORMIXC to the string cc -m32 -B/usr/lib/i386-redhat-linux3E/lib/ I get a syntax error. Kate

Actually I worked out how to do it. I use the -c option to esql and it passes the argument to the c compiler.
