ESQL/C Debugging problems

I needed to debug an ESQL/C program on the RS/6000 but found that the debugger did not correctly handle the line number redirection statements in the .c module. If looked at some functions I would see the expected code with original ESQL/C statements, but in other functions the debugger looks elsewhere in the C module, not the EC, eventhough the function contains ample amounts of #line statements. What can I do to fix this?
